As we know, health is one of the most important aspects of human life. With strong, clean bill of health, we are able to accomplish a lot with fewer roadblocks, and issues such as chronic illnesses can be debilitating to one’s long-term picture and quality of life.
While founding Agility MD, I have had the chance to talk and have discussions with people from all different specialties within human health. Gerontology, our focused specialty that our product and services support, is a multidisciplinary practice with medical professionals of all types required to help elders remain healthy and to live as long as they can, while balancing a growing number of issues at that age.
From a founder’s vantagepoint, while networking and meeting to build the company, I have met other founders and practitioners who are working on some innovative ideas and solutions, and it should give everyone peace of mind knowing that our future, for us and a next generation, is going to be a healthier one.
What I’ve seen is that a lot of medical-based founders are using newer age tools to do things such as decreasing time to diagnosis, supporting the making of more precise decisions in key situations, and having more information at the fingertips of both the patient and provider (including Agility’s service).
In a gerontology setting, these tools will be able to not only save lives, but healthily keep our loved ones alive to be able to share more moments with, and health concerns won’t have to impede on a child’s grandparents being able to watch them at their next sporting event, or even walking down the aisle.
If you are with an elderly care facility or health system (small or large), reach out to admin@agility-md.com to learn about how we can partner together to create a better life for elder adults.
